datadiffusion
What I sometimes do is connect the 0V to the nearest earth on a socket or light at the keypad end, then back at the panel connect the earth to 0V. Result - much lower resistance!* *OP please do not do this. We recommend you check all connections and replace any short/easily accessible runs with the correct alarm cable. So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/36991-cooper-menvier-9651/page/4/#findComment-388283 Share on other sites

datadiffusion
I've seen white coax passed off as FP to a gullible landlord. Well, I'm saying that. rajbps
Hi everyone thanks for all the replies. I have got the system rewired with 8 core alarm cable. Unfortunately again same zone 1 , 2 , 3 tamper . I get a meter tomorrow and try again. Can anyone tell me what volts should i get on the tamper loop. , Raj Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/36991-cooper-menvier-9651/page/4/#findComment-388398 Share on other sites
al-yeti
If you loop out the tamp terminal does fault clear? Then what have you set as the unused zones? Have you got the global tamper running via the keypad? Easier to use fsl and struggle a little with resistors Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/36991-cooper-menvier-9651/page/4/#findComment-388400 Share on other sites
