Ok, will do and report back hopefully all good news ) another thing if I may, is there a way to link this product to ethernet so you can get notification if the alarm been triggured.

ok success on. pulled everything to a table and started to test. Comes out to be the spring on the tamper switch on the pir was not getting pressed properly in any of the 3 devices. Unit going off installer mode now ) A second question if I may, does anyone know how to install a door detector pls. Here is a pic of what I have. Now to what I understand the yellow and blue one is the tamper. The red and black do they go to a zone or to power 12vand 0 not sure. My bet, goes to a zone and I break the serial link on the tamper loop and add this one as the same in serial. Am i correct? , Raj

Hi everyone thanks for all the replies. I have got the system rewired with 8 core alarm cable. Unfortunately again same zone 1 , 2 , 3 tamper . I get a meter tomorrow and try again. Can anyone tell me what volts should i get on the tamper loop. , Raj

yes its cat 5 Do you think its the cat 5 cable thats the issue?

i have it on cc its option 21 then 0 21: Zone Configuration This command enables you to select the wiring type of the zone connectors on the control unit PCB. The default is option 0 for all models. 0 Up to 8 closed circuit loop zones (CC + Com A/T). 1 Up to 8 fully-supervised loop zones (FSL 2K2/4K7). Is the wiring right. I done it as it says in the book
