I thought I was going to get battered. I was let off with a warning.

Would you believe I once was and taken to Batley park. I was terrified.

I wonder how many people on here are surprised by that?

I did have the windows put through when I was at school for being mouthy on the cb radio.

Getting back on topic...

Many bells are easy to disable when the external lid is removed.

The Texecom would be cut the Hold Off and remove the battery jumper.

If he removed the lid and pressed the tamper down he could work in silence on any sounder anyway, assuming the system was unset.

I have been to many call outs for break ins not one has removed the sounder carefully with a screwdriver.

Same here. So incredibly rare that they even touch any part of the alarm unlike the days of old where a good smashing if the panel and foaming of bells wouldn't be unusual.

Maybe the crooks realise the police response times mean they don't have to go to the trouble to stop the arc calling them :)

Who pays attention to bells ringing? really.

No one, hence why we don't fit them.

Seems another point on which we agree.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
