I agree. Problem is not many ask for help these days.

I don't watch much TV. It's either hijacked by the wife or daughter or nothing on worth watching. I'm sure many people come across hardship in one way or another and needs someone's help. I think it's the asking that's the hard bit. There was a program on the other night about food banks and how proud people were to not ask.

I often reach out to people who can help me and think nothing of it these days but I remember when it was a big deal to reach out to someone.

You've done quite well with the fundraising. Nice contribution :) health is something we all seem to take for granted until something nasty happens which then makes you think.
