Honeywell Galaxy G2-12/ G2-20

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can you tell me if the G2-12/G2-20 panel are similar in programming to the older galaxy 60s, i.e in terms of having the option to program zones as 'security', 'Bells', etc and also if the onboard outputs have similar options.

I've installed and programmed a galaxy 60 with few problems but was wondering if the newer ones have the same sort of options or not.

Any information would be welcome.

Kind regards

Craig

Practically idential but don't expect so many zone types to be available as in a 60. Think of it as an upgraded 16+ with the classic menu structure.

I don't think a g2 will do a security zone if you're on about a fire door that triggers internal sounders in the day, then is a full intruder zone at night......

Also they only have one link!

'Zone type 04 24 Hours As an intruder zone but permanently active. NOTE:In the unset state, a 24 hour alarm is signalled. In the set state, an intruder alarm is signalled''

Will the Texe prem do a zone like that BTW?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Ah right default behaviour - do you know I can't remember the last time I prog'd a 24 hour zone on a scanny,

thinking about it that's the same...

If anyone happens to be getting rid of a galaxy 60 at a reasonable price then please drop me a line.
