Just had an email that my bargain Xperia Androidpad isn't available. Bah.

 

JW do you have any experience of the Siemens SPC eng browser mode working on Fruitpad?

Only real reason I chose android was that I knew both SPC and iOn are fine with Chrome.

All the apps I was after work on android or ios anyway.

As it happens I'm going for the non 3G Android version, which is available. 90% of the time I can use customers net, or my plug in wifi box, or use

my phone as a mifi.... etc.

Cheapskate. Get 3G, much easier although be wary about using giff gaff or you'll get your sim barred.

As regards gg surely not if using the tablet data plan?

 

Besides my mobile is a proper O2 contract with tethering allowed...

Got banned from gg for using sims in fruit pad.

"Note: You can use the SIM in your iPad, tablet, or mobile internet dongle. Or you can connect to other devices using your smartphones tethering feature." I think that's all OK now.
