just fitted a wireless texecom system with premier keypad on first power up all zones showed tamper fault , linked out all unused zones now getting EXP 1 A tamper fault anyone shed some light on it thanks

I had this on the 12-w and it was because I believe the commission mode jumper on the panel was still in place.

Matt's right - this is the commissioning mode jumper. Took me a while to work this out as well.

tamper fault on the expander?

That what I originally thought but realised as it was a 12-w it couldn't have an expander.

The 8 zone wireless pcb shows up as an expander even though it's part of the main pcb

Makes sense, prob easier to develop/manufacture/code that way.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

Thanks Matthew was the jumper on the board problem sorted just finished setting up key pad , think you need a PhD in computer programing
