It will show them you're not some knuckle grazer in an old banger and that's often all people worry about. Seen some great engineers work out of old beaters before, and also seen the "all the gear and no idea" brigade. Neat vans make the right impression though. Agreed, and, whilst I was joking, I'd (naturally!) my 10 year old van is tidy, because I look after it. Whereas the kerb-bashed, unwashed, 4 year old example of a certain competitor looks as bad as their work.
