Thats the problem with manuals- the devils in the detail, and as an engineer you slavishly believe it is in print so you must be wrong - not the manual.

If i could claim all the time i've wasted back on this, over the years on various kit - i'd only be 23 not 63

It is easy to get distracted, do you not geta a non tech employee to try and program? Perhaos send a sample to your make freindly installer. This would help highlight any difficulties, corrections made and reduce techcalls.

I doubt Adrian has many mistakes in the manual.

I think bArf should write them for Tex on his iPad.
