Multiple Roaming SIMS on BT Secure out 2.45ish   GPRS FAIL

Still in fail here!

Think this is the 3rd or 4th time now for Roaming Secures But it's the longest i think.

Yes, just "roaming SIMs", but no, they will not have the capability to roam because Network Registration has been lost.

Its affect is data only, so Voice etc is still useable.

Ive just got in the office and understand that the fault has been identified.

That's about the time the fault occurred Barsnake...

Should the ARC be getting the subcribers out of bed in the early hrs of the morning to tell them of GPRS issues ?

l

Depends on the installers wishes usually.

Don't forget webway has that smart reporting tool which intercepts failures.

We have had notification that the issue has now been resolved.

In answer to Mr Happy, no I dont think anyone should have been disturbed out of hours for a service delivery issue...and yes Smart Reporting has protected the vast majority of sites that were affected by this problem.

I trust webways procedures more than my arc that's all. You have access to a very caperble arc system and you understand it. Most arcs imho fo not.

Not wishing to be unmodest, but I was rather please with myself when  my robot dealt with them all, checked all was ok etc without any human intervention or server melting.
