May 19, 201313 yr comment_321735 Hi I have 2 Texecom Premier 48 alarms in my properties and I wanted to use the same tag with both systems. I tried it but when I add the tag to the second system it doesn't work on the first system. I thought that the tag would give out an ID which would be accepted by the system if programmed, but it seems that the tag is written by the system. Any ideas? or will I need 2 tags? Thanks in advance Gordon Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/34576-texecom-prox-tag-on-2-systems/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 May 19, 201313 yr comment_321757 Thats interesting, can that be done on Texe Andrew? Yes. The issue came up a couple of years ago regarding using the same token on different kit/sites. Seems there's two ways to enrol a fob. The Texe boys will have the correct terminology but in essence, when enrolling. If you add new fob, it writes a new code to the fob, if you import, it adds the fob number to the panel whilst leaving the fob alone. May 19, 201313 yr comment_321799 seems peculiar, i'm curious what advantage it serves (over straight enrolment to both panels) other than having users in the same user slot on each? then if its lost admin has to also know about using this option. while in fobs, anyone else allocate tokens/fobs to above user 20? easier to know who has what fob for deletion/renewal no matter which system, less risk of knocking out a valid code or fob. user 1 = 21 fob husband admin (but set to normal user) user 2 = 22 fob wife user 10 = 20 Cleaner and so on?
