seems peculiar, i'm curious what advantage it serves (over straight enrolment to both panels) other than having users in the same user slot on each? then if its lost admin has to also know about using this option.

 

That is not an option on texe, the panel writes to the fob if you use it as standard, unlike the Risco stuff and most other panels that take the fobs number. So if you write the fob on site one you must then import it on any other site, if you don't it will be over written and no longer work at the origional site.

True but its difficult to account for idiots. Its much more secure in general though.

I think there is some use though. On many of the others the fobs couold be compromised before they are even sold to the user.
