No of course, but I assume the OP is not brain dead.

Not brain dead, but I was assuming the OP has no idea tho.

I wouldn't check a battery with the built-in voltage readings.

You are correct about the "Monitor Hardware Shuffle", had to do this a couple of times.

Thanks for your help and advice guys, I have now ordered a new battery.

I will let you know the outcome once the battery has been installed.

I have fitted the new battery yesterday, logged in via Wintex and it looks like everything is back to normal. No more Alerts on the screen either.

Thanks for all your help and advice guys.

Ive got a fault on a Premier 24. I put a new battery in 3 months ago after a battery fault and the customer has called me back as its appeared again.

Investigation shows that the battery is only holding 7v but then checking the charging voltage its only 6.7v.

I have 13.2 v on the Aux and bell outputs but the battery leads are only pumping 6.7v down them.

Keypad diagnosis confirms this when reading system status. Without any adjustable pot on the PCB or blown fuse, how can I adjust the charging voltage back to 12v ??

its usual that a poorly serviced system kills its charger circuit. New panel id say

New install in 2011, had 3 batteries since but think it had a long outage around 2013. Last fitted a batt in March, another one today.

I'll verify with Tex Tech support tomorrow as customer is a neighbour so a bit awkward to quote £100 for a new PCB even though outage wasnt my fault !

Thanks for the quick responses.
