Gotta add to this comelit dont always get it right. Their "custom" stuff made in italy isnt understood by their english counterparts for the most. They too are stuck with pretty drawings with red and green lines pointing the way, and get as stuck as us when it doesnt work as per design.imo urmet is the way forward, comelit are a cheap imitation

I have a mental block with Urmet, cheap and nasty springs to mind from experience.

It looks like they have copied Comelit. From some of the installs I have seen.

Tis true of all entry kit. I have a particular way of using the videx weathershield where i have exactly the amount of room i need to fix a door reader on the side edge making it our easy instal entry and acces product. all wiring the same route.
