What if the fire starts in the false ceiling?

I only assume these installs are done to the correct category and thus not an issue. If its under 800 it doesn't need covered anyway as oxo has already pointed out.

It's basically fire resistant expanding foam. A college we do has recently gone mad with the stuff, must have cost them a fortune to do. We use the mastic.
