Ipad 3

Featured Replies

Been toying with idea of getting one of these. Has many people got one and are they worth the wonga?

Im not an apple fanboy but think they make a nice well rounded product.

I like the interface it works well for people non 'power' users imo. I have never owned an apple anything. Personally im waiting for the new windows 8 tablets as i like the new windows phone.

If i had to buy one now it would be an android one with ICS on it.

I'd hold back until any issues (if any) are ironed out. Read something about them overheating, although I would take that with a pinch of salt.

My other half has the Ipad 2, it is a good bit of kit but has it's limitations.

I love my ipad2, it's perfect for my needs both business and pleasure. I have one of their bluetooth keypads as well, which does help when writing emails and the like. I don't think you can go wrong really. Looking at what the ipad3 version gives over and above the 2, I'm happy to stick with what I've got. So if you can get a good deal on an iPad2....you won't go wrong there either.

I also have an MacBook Air, running parallels and Windows as well as the Mac OS, an iPhone and at home Apple TV. So..I think I am a little biased!

Hey Ho, Lets Go

There was a report on Watchdog tonight about the ipad 3 heating up, but apple say it doesn't go above legal limits.

They would, otherwise they'd have to pull it.

But independent tests have proved it gets damned hot especially when gaming.

I havent got a tablet at all but def gonna get the ipad 3 so should be a big jump, just use it generally for personal and business. now just need to think what colour and type to get lol
