February 19, 201214 yr comment_281156 To many variables in life, nothing is guaranteed, what may work in one circumstance doesn't mean it'll work in all-we all add information to the tapestry!,just because our findings suggest only one outcome doesn't necessarily mean only one outcome exists!. Anyway the manufacturers stipulate data bus resistors so that's what we should be fitting. February 19, 201214 yr comment_281168 resistors on data are required as its a balanced line and the resistors terminate hat line and remove swf issues. however modern equipment deals with data errors so well on the line that imo they are rarely required. Plus on an electrically noisy line the resistor value is no constant. So as basic advice id say never fit them as std and do so if you have the odd site with data issues. all imho securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. March 1, 201214 yr comment_281555 Some manufacturers switch eol resistors in at eol automatically, hence some dont tell u to fit terminating resistors Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/32614-rkp-tamper/page/2/#findComment-281555 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
