Would james prefer me to copy my id card? I went for the easy option of supplying web address coz i use my mobile for web access, but i could boot the beast up...

We just need suitable proof that you are who you say you are and that you are trade. So web site with an email addy that is tied to the web address would be a start with some discretion

Hmm, havnt given my works email adress as google seems to object to me sending from it on my phone. it works intermitently only. i can receive on it only, unless at my desk, which is a rare delight!

If i were to email from that address with my phone email details, would that be acceptable?

If you have a web site called say acme-security.co.uk and you wish to use this as proof of trade, I would need to be able to either A: Call you on the phone number on said wb page and verify that you are who you claim, or B:Email you using the websites name example fuzzies@acme-security.co.uk otherwise you could claim to be the owner of ADT and give me you mobile email it would prove nothing.
