we do where appropriate, assume your talking 6.4.2, but of course not exclusively.

Most of our monitored jobs have them fitted, prob 90% lock, 10% prox

The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!

(Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not)

weve done a few on gun cabinets on 24hr.but not often on e/e

We use them to start E/E, door gets kicked in, no entry started, instant alarm on contact, confirmed on hall pirrolleyes.gif

its the best way, just a pain on alot of doors.

we use them but still tend to use 6.4.5 else the lock is vulnerable

Not really used shuntlocks before incase they are forced open. External prox with a maglock on the door. Front door programmed as alarm. Disarm the system before you can enter the building, or if the have electric roller shutters put a relay on to disable the mains power until the alarm is disarmed.
