It is in the reg and its to do with the tools they use to test for penetration, the holes are as close to the edges as we could get them without breaking reg.

its to prevent access to the panel so i dont agree. On G2 id agree its less of an issue but on g3 if someone gained access to a panel with easy access holes then its possible to gain access. Granted not likely but still possible.

Not a problem really as long as you dont have holes in the wrong place.

And plastic panels?

Best was mag PSU`s fitted to ceiling. Batts not tied in.

Take over and was hunting the psu`s, found them behind a ceiling tile with about 5 mm to spare.

Happy now because the job was going to palan again, removed a screw the hindged lid fell open and there was me eating a 7ah.

Glad the client was not there to hear my slight rant!!!!

I ripped a panel off a wall once when that happened to me, just lost it lol*

*it was only held up by 3x 1.5 / 8 in plaster board with no fixings.

you'll be telling us it was a takeover next.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

lol, no it wasn't a takeover, was an install done by the owners son at the firm i used to work for. Had a few tricks like that, cameras fixed to ceiling tiles with cut down wall plugs lol I atleast use a bit of trunking to screw into ;)
