Looks like a good panel had a wee shot on reps demo so we took 5 in on the launch offer but have not gotten round to fitting one on site yet as the jobs we had on the go are roughed for M800 using keypad zones and No zones on the Ion keypads but we are looking forward to the room for STU etc and 17AH batt with room to spare (just to find cub big enough )

Is that a TS690 in the background?

790, with a WAM

ps is that an optima+2 rkp on the bench ?

nope, WEEE

PPS, if we are being fussy.

On my test bench you could not see the cables to the peripheral`s.

its wet string

PPPS is the ION glued to the wall?

inch 8's, ideal for 2 x 17Ah

must admit the casing a bit ott for many jobs & why oh why do scanny insist on 3 fixings only. case wobbles without trunking behind. ok wont fall off wall with coachbolts but cant we have 4?

still waiting on gsm module, not sure if cooper or adi's new super computer system

wanna play a bit before speccing, & try ethernet & gprs mods as seem hot potatos atm.

Lazy fooker, drill what you need. Use penny washers to make up the stand off.

Quiclk tip: Drill as needed offer panel up as template.

Drill plug ect.

Use super glue to hold washers in palce on back of panel when mounting.

but why should you need to. Id agree with hp. Once you factor in the labour and bits required to do that, it probably makes the panel too dear.

We often dont look at things like that imo and we should factor them in.

For instance cable is going up and up, the more I can do to save on it the better. knockouts, mounting of kit etc, commisioning etc. All takes time. Should be factored into any cost of equipment.

too many imo look at the product price only. Once you factor in call backs and faults a cheap bit of kit usually works out to be very very expensive indeed.
