    Found this to show the size of the problem. Also shows to me that most people dont value this at all Device Map - hacked.camera also a tool on github to see if you have anything on your local network

    as above the tamper will be tamper return and iirc is a -ve

    i dont think thats right Al, downloaded of a mobile phone app, then sent to a pc to be stored on usb or dvd etc. No-one does it right unless the maintaniner is asked to download the footage

    They will only support trade its not b&q type stuff. re the tamper you will have tamper loop in the panel, sab tamper in the panel and keypad tampers. ALso the sab tamper may be ok at the sab is it ok at the panel?

    probably the sab tamper there is more than the tamper loop, plus that wire to the sab shouldnt be visible

    Whats the thoughts on how this may affect cctv ie if defence case uses same footage and changes the face to the defence KC etc I notice a lot of diy type cameras only ave footage in mp4 format not in a native secure format. 'I was deepfaked by my best friend' - BBC News

    You have just connected your fan to a relay I can't see that working if its a relay. Use your multimeter to see if the relay changes state or wire the power to the fan through the relay

    if its not coomunicating then it wont go off again, however the siren may self actuate with a panel instruction if its tamper switch keeps operating

    supervision failure is bad. Usually because batts havnt been chnaged or inferior cheap ones used. Is jamming detect trurned on (should be)

    you will need to fix the tamper issue on the bell. Id assume its not closing correctly or not securly fitted to the wall

    if disconnected and jumper in both settings id say you may have blown it up

    if you disconnect the stobe input on the sab does it stop?

    supervision failure means the panel had heard from the sensor for a period of time. This would mean if it needed to transmit an alarm it wouldnt get through and it wouldnt work. You dont want to disable this you want to fix the problem. There will be more info on the siren fault you will need to know this to help diagnose

    Every pro will recommend and specialise. My personal pref is for hkc buy is fat from a diy suitable product I doubt you would get support for it

    Looks like there are 2 tamper terminals. I'd assume a link from 0v to the other tamper connection? Yes can you invert the strobe in the panel or sounder?

    different installers will specialise and prefer different gear. my pref for example would be hkc. 6wb will be texecom as another example. there are some id avoid but wont say here

    Bear in mind thats a diy product not a pro product. For instance most of us here arent allowed to use it

    you find new keypads that work with that panel and old keypads wont work with a new panel. ie would you use a new ford ranger ECU on your citroen AX

    2) sounds like your strobe is configured the worng way. It will need inverting in the panel if the panel is wrong or the bell etc 1) you are right to me means you have a tamper problem on the bell

    as above dest for diy is a lot different to best.

    OK that would be harder though as its the switches on the bell and there would be voltage on them. Is the tamper return from the bell at 0v?
