  4. dont know the system you are talking about is it some chinese ebay special? also some devices need a 2g only sim.
  5. As 6 you still have a tamper fault. the word fault is wrong here as you caused the tamper by opening parts. Once all faults/errors are clear it will reset.
  6. Nothing wrong with adt at all. However people spend more on coffee beer or fags than they do their security Perhaps we should swap, whatever someone does for what we do. Or we could strike maybe Noone will notice that either
  7. most 'smart' systems are easily disabled. a pro company is not likely or permitted to use a non compliant product that would expose them to a failure to perform claim from yourself or your insurer. approved systems are secure and compliant, allowing 3rd control from unapproved and it most cases insecure systems isn't something I would do or recommend anyone do even DIY. people would use a lock made of plastic but seem not to care about the security of their electronic protection, this can be seen by the horrible stuff we all see out there. im a big supporter of home automation but most people want it free so there is little business case to make product fir that market this will change imo
  8. We would normally use access control for this, smart locks are an option but are more aimed at DIY use than Pro security providers
  9. Everyone assumes there is a code that kills systems. The golden burgler code. Its not yale it wont be easy to kill. If you want a security system that is easy to defeat keep looking away from our stuff
  10. It's not the 22nd Christmas but happy this one to all.
  11. I believe there has been issues with accredited installers and the regulators. I know the SSAIB have failed certain installs. I am in talks with the NSI about their response.
  12. When it activates what event does it report?
  13. Ideally you want a native integration. Also what's the security of your automation system like
  14. Id assume you have discconected something. Check your int speaker connections are ok, then the cable with a meter
  15. Wiser heat but i wanted the trv's too Mines connected to home assistant but ive put one at mum and dads on a heatpump
  16. is that for the dualcom badge?
  17. Is that a 3rd party test or self certify. There has been issues in the UK where with one of the regulators failing sites with ajax.
  18. And id add its a strike thing generally (is a whole new post) not in any way a race thing Thankyou for your pm advising ive made that worse ffs im giving up

  21. as that option no longer complies it probably also needs turning on in the programming menu.
  22. Glad you sorted it Thanks for the follow up
  23. ok id leave the rio where it is and disconnect all the circuits at the rio end and link all circuits with a 1k resistor. Then assuming all show 1k closed change each circuit to 2k one at a time. What do you get then? Is all detection cabling new?
  24. are you sure the resistor values are default on the affected circuits. if the panel is showin a 2k resistance but showing closed looks like programming to me
