  2. Get a basic kit but £350 won't get you far Texecom ricochet Pyronix enforcer Visonic powermax All diy available, and friendly I think, More budget get an installer to fit the above or a HKC Get some rebate on the holiday only go for two weeks instead and get good security

  5. Wireless sensor for example fixed to doors and windows activate in vibration Simply put if Mr H comes round with a sledge and wacks your window , providing you setup the detector correctly it should activate the alarm Shock sensor / vibration sensor
  6. Just put anti snap locks in and shocks on the doors and windows But your budget needs to be bigger
  7. I'd say long run texecom will give you more head ache as a diyer , the deeper you go, visonic menu is messed up but does a job , enforcer might still be slightly ahead for setting up Visonic for diy then

  10. You still need to setup it's range , little grey pot top left , where is the sensor being located in kitchen? Did you get instructions with it?

Many hallways have windows so good to have pir , or double fronted doors with glass either side, again hallway pirs are good, not much use otherwise as above and above except good reminder But then if zones are set for access in part set then wouldn't matter as another zone would remind you What's the crack with part set and zones being switched to timed access is there any issue with compliance and all that shabang What you saying monkeys?
  17. 1.6hdi are underpowered and poor engines , although the 2.0 do suffer from leaking pumps
  18. You get the leads with the lexia or just software ? It can be funny Wdt where you get 1200bar from?
  19. I got a small refurb to do on the side, Mr H gives good motivation these builders make a killing, might fix a boiler if I get time And some house bashing of course

  21. There's a texecom expert on here somewhere , might be looking for work , but you need to keep an eye on him , he's in your area
  22. Have you bought the kit yet? Otherwise it doesn't seem to mention what it is, some are 24v some are 12v , buy the kit then work out what supply you need as it will be on the supplied power pack or use a meter
