  1. there need to be whitelist I'd assume most don't know what kit is under what badge & when the products are revised there's a chance it could be sourced from OEM
  2. From the US Your not going to avoid the potential exploits of a blacklisted supplier by avoiding a certain brand , its way too complex
  3. Isn't Honeywell Hikvision OEM? Isn't Dahua & any other kit made in certain Chinese factory's banned for US use ?
  4. around 70 according to google which is why a blacklist of anyone but hikvision is pointless

  6. The odyssey was polycarbonate, some age better than others (the sun / variable quality of the plastics?) CQR C-Type, the little tag on the bottom edge says "polycarbonate"
  7. plastics where faded but otherwise prefect Other week I took down an odyssey 2 from 2002 & it just fell apart...

  17. looking at a popular on line retailer... can I buy your "cut lengths" of 8 core cqr in 100m lenghts as strangely its nearly 4p per meter cheaper than a coil

  22. ↑@Gabs when you down the shops next time, have a look who's sounder is on the building & who's sticker is on / above the keypad, There's a few retailers which have blank or their own name on the sounder, the current service provider being the lowest bidder...
