  1. Not sure how this helps the OP ?
  2. My spider senses tingle "Aritech" ? I guess a tamper circuit would be used for the external bell ? the 2nd tamper circuit may be used for an internal speaker ?
  3. I'd have whipped out my c/card & paid your employer with a smile on my face.... piece of piss to get a charge back on that scam
  4. I've probably got beads on for single cores somewhere on stock, probably last used when enforcers where cream coloured & had no case screw I've got split cores somewhere a telephone bloke gave me at least 16yrs ago...
  5. seen 'em with psu's & internal EWD however I was thinking per core- pic from ACT
  6. retro.... but +1 + any unsed cores to 0v alarmcon, when you used temp cables did you use the same psu ?
  7. If you open the Ewd whilst the controls are in engineering. They normally sound. Some products are able to be placed into an engineer mode & won't sound when the case is opened
  8. I'd assume... A connection to logging print A connection into cortech BMS A provision of things switched by the intruder alarm eg lighting ?
  9. had a good sized spider & lots of midges living in e-line's
  10. IIRC all the elites produce both "mains fail" & "power o/p" when the mains is off I'd guess its something to do with the 4 pin molex pin on the switch mode psu the switch mode psu is also a bit naff & much more likeley to fail compared to transformer
  11. enter code, then enter code & press reset
  12. If you have the contents of your commercial premises insured (your stock may be expensive & portable) the insurer may have certain requires for the alarm eg signalling & holding a URN any thing wired to a telephone is vulnerable to a line cut, systems which text are the carrier pigeons of alarm signalling
  13. I'd think you'd be better spending the money on couple of visits to clean the gutter in the autumn rather than alarms... or something like - https://hedgehog-gutter-brush.co.uk/
  14. you need a 1 x Intruder URN & 1 x PA URN I assume new system, so will need 2 zones per PA to produce a confirm
  15. The Rotherham factory is a sleeper cell.... every time you set your alarm with the app your location & forward facing camera is captured. A bloke in China tracks your movements his cousin at the takeaway is also an informant & should you have a ZTE mobile you may as well just surrender to the Chinese Embassy
  16. Bet your ISP has a load of Huawei kit....
  17. if the zones show open when the cicuit is closed did you check resistance between alarm & tamper pairs ? (2+ had tamper per zone (IIRC)) Before changing any devices I'll link zones out & see if the panels goosed, it will on or around 25 yrs old ?
  18. you check the resistance of the circuits ?
  19. Alarm batteries are lead acid gel batteries, I'm impressed if you've manged to top one up with water....
  20. When I was younger & slimer I got bored of tossing about with call back & bits of card & start with a screw for the tamper tab, sadly nobody done a rkp as slim & stylish as 9825 /9625 since scanny late 80's effort
  21. Very nice but I think the fourm exclusively worships Zuul the Gatekeeper of Gozer ?
  22. I though you where meant to put a plug & screw under the plastic tamper tab & adjust the height of the screw head to suit ?
