  3. a "cp8l" with a wireless expander, oh dear if the battery has more than 2.8v its either the pir or the connections on the battery a simple solution is buy an alarm with fully comprehensive maintenance,

  9. Think DS went to bosch 2004 /05 ? The hybrid 6/14 R was a stable bit of kit, I have some old kit on the shelf but don't think we have any maintained any more The Euro thing was briefly sold as ADE, Bosch, Castle & Pyronix I'd guess cheaper than developing your own kit
  10. apart from a data connection theres no other wiring from radio expander to controls, radio zones are no. 11 to 88, it was class 5 radio system

  12. the radio expander was on its own bus, devices are progammed on/ off by the keypad

  14. pir used 2 x cr123 the sanyo ones lasted many yrs...
  15. 6/14r used DS radio equipment, the recvier was metal boxed & did 32 (IIRC) device which could be split into a & b circuits
  16. It been many yrs since I touched one... Think the fobs are on the system as a zone, delete it. The radio stuff was documented its own manual, You'd be best of with co. with expirance of the product or rip the whole thing out & replace

  21. no I think they copied gardtec idea / design
  22. The litlle red ni cad battery cover was a ventcroft thing.... however the pcb in a little clear box was done by Gardtec from the early 90's
