  1. Agreed but at least you can pass on the business costs. Travel insurance has gone up, but not by much iirc as I renewed ours a while ago so will probably be shafted next time.
  2. Not totally, remember the insurance companies lost a lot of money through covid and with weather events too.
  3. Every other day there's something on social media about a crash involving a Golf r or rs3 in Bradford. There's definitely a stereotypical driver who runs out of talent and ends up wiping out half a dozen parked cars.
  4. More chop shop and parts in your neck I reckon.
  5. Mine has risen by nearly 50 percent this year.

I knows, but you said: "Infra red is the detection method NOT what the detector is looking for, infra red detector detects heat or INFRA RED radiation"

    Yeah, check your efficacy policy.
  9. More Stephen Griffiths tbf.
  10. I watched a guy come in with a plastic poppadom tray full of Jewellery, I kid you not. Their 'security' guy lived on site upstairs with a crossbow.
  11. Easy money with little chance of capture or appropriate punishment.
  12. Used to do loads of Jewellery shops around Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax etc. High targets for robbery due to the purity and ease of moving on. I also spent quite a lot of time on this site with the owner, Daniel who seemed very unassuming and a generally nice guy. They who used to smelt gold for people walking in off the street lol. https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/23174279.fowler-oldfield-james-stunt-trial-jury-consider-verdicts/
  13. That the high value goods are mainly 22ct.
  14. Shall we have a wager?
  15. 22ct gold jewellery would be my guess...
  16. Didn't PJ connect his Alexa to his alarm or did I dream that? The numbers are impressive..
  17. Can't you sleep @james.wilson
  18. Lol, not sure about the DM but he's definitely that demographic, really intelligent guy, but not at the same time. Whilst I'm aware of the risks of ID theft I don't dwell on it, but as I say I'm a pragmatist and will possibly come unstuck at some point, but in the meantime I won't lose any sleep over it.
  19. I'm sure we all value it, just to differing levels maybe. I've always been lapse tbf. The two wyze cams are in an empty property atm on a mifi thing, accounts are set up with unique email addresses though. My brother in law by contrast is fanatical about security, to the point I think he's lost the plot a bit, he's got 12 (iirc) cameras on his self build where 5-6 would have sufficed (Hik though) and ~16 zones on the alarm. He keeps all his passwords in a book and won't do Internet banking and has stickers over his laptop camera lol. Banking aside I don't over think security and I'm pretty pragmatic with most things.
  20. Lol I've got a couple of these, I think their great vfm (security issues aside)
