  1. I pass this most days, they spent a lot of money on a complete refurb of the house, it was totally gutted, then go and do this shit.
  2. Agreed, thing is, I can see the neighbours sister left him a good review 3 years ago so obviously recommend him. It's not like they're short of cash she drives a 69 plate full fat RR (she's a director of her father's company, but her day job is a A&E nurse) and was advertising some second hand shoes on FB @ £750 and he drives an 18 plate RS3, really nice young couple but obviously clueless to a degree.
  3. A neighbour has just had cctv installed, the guy is on FB and he showcases some really shit work, but he's cheap. He rocked up yesterday in a 18 year old shitter of a van and had 4 cameras lashed in in a few hours. They now have some grey HIK cams sticking out like a sore thumb on their shiny white fascias. He's advertising 2 cameras fully installed for £325, and at that price he even comes back after 12m for a free check! Probably why the poor bastard is riding round in a van that I thought was collecting scrap.
  4. It will definitely get you to the front of the queue, not sure why but it's just always been the case.
  5. He wouldn't know if he was coming or gophering
  6. It always speeds things up if you send some good quality dick pics to Peter James.
  7. I rarely click unsubscribe unless they are legit businesses like Go Outdoors etc. Anything else and I think it just shows the address is live and monitored.
  8. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Alarm-Flashing-Strobe-security-system/dp/B00JM971Q6 Would be your next best bet, but as above say's they are obsolete.

My point was more aimed at manufacturers being a bit more closed shop from the DIY, but we all know that's never going to happen as its a strong revenue stream for them.

nor mine, well it's being 'shook up' but not in a good way for installers imo.

Shame more manuf aren't the same really.
  12. Deliberate flatlining isn't to be encouraged Welcome btw.
  13. How often do you have it serviced? Sounds like a tamper issue so either contact the installer, a reputable company or get the ladder out but beware there's high voltage around the pcb.
  14. Yup, used as the main panel when I worked @ Wares, very underrated and yes, a bit quirky for the programming but a great panel ime.
