  1. Upgrades maybe, the value is in the recurring revenue over 3-5 years.
  2. If you go on the website they quote £99 key holder response, but you must click or call to get a quote, that's when you get the small print. No tricks, it's just marketing.
  3. Yep plus the additional monitoring charge, no monitoring, no £99 alarm.
  4. If Matt offers you tea refuse, especially if its really hot and he does not boil the kettle first .
  5. Stayed in the exact same place myself some years ago, very nice it was too. http://www.thomascook.com/destinations/spain/canary-islands/gran-canaria/playa-taurito/paradise-lago-taurito?tccid=MET-UK-TC-en--ss12-01-001----CPC&utm_medium=AGG&utm_source=affilinet&utm_campaign=581244
  6. LOL are you smoking anything illegal by any chance
  7. The approvals listed are wrong:- EN50131-1 is a system standard, nothing to do with components. EN50131-2-4 is for dualtechs, not PIR's, i don't see any dulatechs on your website. No EN standard for the control equipment. No mention of PD6662 the UK scheme for EN and BS standards. To have any validity the certificate and testing must be carried out by a laboratory that complies with EN45011 and ISO67, this should appear on the certificate and the test reports. The standards you listed before are all legal requirements to apply a CE mark, so these would be expected.(although not guaranteed.) Not trying to slate your product, but the facts you have presented are incorrect, and potentially misleading. Question:- do any of your products have removal from mounting tamper detection?
  8. Software is Reaper, hardware is a Line 6 POD XT Live, backing tracks from tinterweb. Reaper is very easy to use, i tried Cubase and Presonus, but Reaper beats them hands down IMHO.
  9. Did a bit of a remix in Livin' on a Prayer, i think it sounds a bit better
  10. Only 12 minutes Yeah that one is proving a PITA, its mainly the effects i used to try and simulate the talkbox, i am having another bash at that and will remix it, the effects definitely had an impact.
  11. Ok so for anybody that has the slightest bit of interest here's a link to my Soundcloud, few tracks on there i have been gofing around with and a couple we intend to play as a band. Just started rehearsing with a couple of guys, we plan two months rehearsal of a 20 song set, got a singer lined up, then its off to the local pubs and clubs to show off our wares. Might be good might be bad, but we are at the moment having a great deal of fun and gelling quite nicely as a band. Anyway have a listen, and all comments gratefully received, good or bad. https://soundcloud.com/maxsys/tracks
  12. It could be worse, full of bugs and the manufacturer does not fix it.
  13. Version 1.00

Details Keypad functions for Premier & Premier Elite Keypads, all models
  14. Cannot disagree with anything said by CG, and part of the reason i fear it. When i was at Guardall and we had these discussions it was always with the intention of using two chips for the firmware update process, in case it crashed or could not be verified. As for Routers, i have had two Linksys (Cisco) routers brick during and automatic firmware update, i now don't trust them, won't use them and stick to NetGear, i don't know if its better but it has not died yet during a firmware upgrade.
  15. The only reason GPRS will interfere with the radio is if you put the antenna lead for the GPRS right next to the antennas, it will be the same for all panels not just ours, the power output of the GPR, canm cause issues, Simply route the GPRS antenna cable on te opposite side of the box and problem solved.
  16. AP i am not going to get into a slanging match about this, we don't just issue software revisions to fix problems, some are to add features that people requuest, depending on the sites you have installed you may or may not have to flash the panel. On the + side if we have a probelm at least we admit it, and try and fix it. If you have service agreements in place you wil be going to site anyway, so if the new firmware fixes an issue or adds a feature you want, then just flash the panel as part of the service. Takes minutes to do.
  17. Agreed, manufacturers need to be involved, how the hell can they do their jobs if they don't talk to the people who use the kit?
