  1. 512 if you use a 640 panel, split across 32 way expanders Beat me too it
  2. Yes they wil however that is what the encrypted UDL is for you can give the encrypted number out without exposing your UDL passcode
  3. Excellent, glad to help The UDL code in the app and the panel must match, otherwise no connection, you have the onion in the engineer app to encrypt the UDL code so it cannot be seen by the user
  4. Best thing to do is read the manual that came with the comwifi and the app, all you need to know is there, we update the routers IP address in the app so it can always connect. Notifications are instant, push is handled by the server as are emails, no need to understand the ins and outs of how it is done, all you need to know is it works, we handle the IP updates and the notifications. I do t want to sound patronising with the answer above, but everything is detailed in the manuals, follow them and it will work.
  5. Did you try and register more than once? Did you use a valid email address? The process is automated, no human involvement so it should have worked, PM me the details you tried to register with will get it checked
  6. Registered for what
  7. The app can be configured to send emails as well as notifications, all handled by our servers
  8. Confused i am. You don't need DNS, if using push notifications we track the IP address and update every time you connect, that's why the system is polled every 15Mins. I assume you are using this for the customer to have the APP. If not please explain some more.
  9. Correct, the access levels dictate who has access to what and why, without these restrictions mayhem could ensue.
  10. Cheeky i don't normally post in public but you have driven me too it. PM me your number I will call you tomorrow. There is no issue with our systems and I can assure you they work.
  11. No still the same protocol as far as I am aware, pretty sure its works with any panel that natively supports the ComIP which i think was version 7, it may have been earlier
  12. No new hardware required, the rest covered by the other guys. Should work on older panels as well, that's part of the testing, the IP protocol has not changed since introduction so i think it will work on Premier panels back to V7, maybe earlier.
  13. It can do it through Montex, but its not the slickest solution by any means. We are currently testing internally a new version of the apps with push notification, should be available early next year.
  14. Version 1.00

    29 downloads

Details Keypad functions for Premier & Premier Elite Keypads, all models
  15. We like trouble at BSIA, I and others like a bit of disruption, make for interesting meetings, and gets things done, the old ways have to change, and so do the people involved the EU is going to stop all this national requirements nonsense and I for one fully support it
  16. Nothing to do with ACPO, BS8243 was mainly written by installers & inspectorates, we have always had code and fob as an option as it is more secure. If you want to get involved join the BSIA and get your voice heard.
  17. What? Can't be arsed to read this thread properly just back from IFSEC
  18. WTF just went and had me tea and the worlds blown up, all i said was iFSEC is moving
  19. At least you got the beer, and i am sure you enjoyed it on the way home
  20. TBH for us it is great, we deal all over the world now, and IFSEC is cheaper to meet all of our overseas customers than getting on aeroplanes, and most of them come over, I like it to put faces to names like I did with some of the guys on here a couple of years ago, so come on guys, last IFSEC in Brum get your buts down to our stand and grab a free beer.
  21. That's part of the reason i suspect, but mainly for EU visitors, i wonder what Brum will be like this year
  22. see here http://www.securityworldhotel.com/int/news.asp?tp=1&id=63085&nm=1&NewsDate=12-02-2013
  23. the SDK is available, all you got to do is ask, what Breff has posted should see you right for now
