Ideally as little as possible. Maybe a 1000 is about right for that lot but it's a lot more than i wanted to spend.

Compared to the scantronic ones I used to fit it's small by my eyes. ;)

They also do a flush mount version.

Which IIRC looks absolutely awful, a bit like a vandal resistant lift control panel, but screwed on the wall in your hallway. :(
