Paul Giles
OLD ISNT ALWAYS BAD, JUST LOOK AT THE 9100, NEVER HEARD A BAD WORD SAID ABOUT THEM. Just seems a lot of hassle changing panels, why not just buy the 9800 upgrade kit, up to 40 zones and dd compliant. Service Engineer
I`ve always disliked the 9600 & 9800. The 9100 is one of Scannys best ever panels. They just keep going no matter what. ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)
Service Engineer
Agreed, we still have quite a few being monitored. Incredable really. ........................................................ Dave Partridge (Romec Service Engineer)

Guest Peter James
9100 is one of my all time favs the 9500 is the one I never really liked. The 9800 and 9600 were the 1st panels that you could do something other than alarm a building with. So what went wrong with the 9500?

Guest Novice
Hi,Is it possible to send me a copy of the installation Manual by email? What is the Engineers code for a 9800? Thanks Novice. All sorted now Thanks for all your help, I've managed to get the user/installation manual for this panels if any1 requires it. The problem turned out to be faulty keypad, namely buttons 7 & 9 not operating correctly. I have now changed the user code so that these buttons are not used. Also going to replace the system with a veritas r8 in a week or two so no more problems .........Hopefully!!! Thanks once again for all your help Silopark 4600[/snapback]
