  1. Nova, will go check them out.. The cable im after is direct burial 8 core + shielded audio. Its proving very difficult to find any supplier.
  2. Hi Guys, I ve spent hours looking for a supplier for "8 core + screened audio direct burial cable" as shown in attached picture. Anyone able to suggest a supplier, I'm just about to give up.

  18. Ooops Guilty of that on more than one occasion, in fact after the 1st dozen or so I did that as standard (2" screw though), but I still screwed the backplate to the wall.
  19. The fact your wondering whether to bill him implies that you might not. Perhaps because he was only up the road and you'd traced the cause of his Alarm Noise fairly quickly.Did he offer you anything for your troubles..? If he did and you accepted it then consider yourself paid, even if it was only equivalent to a few pint's at the local. If not send him the bill for your time on-site.

  22. We fitted several System Q CCTV kits a few years ago, all are still going strong and have never given us or the customer any problems. Those small all black totally weather proof cameras are great. Even work under water if req`d. Never fitted one of their DVR`s though so shant comment on those.
