I don't bother to test my gprs connection since it is propably too slow to be tested anyhow but i am still wondering if 256kbps is really a definite upstream there???

(it is NOT the limitation of ADSL.) (NOT!) (And welcome to coldshire if you do not believe..)

Ive downgraded to 1mb blueyonder - I was on 4mb.

Still a bit expensive IMO - but the BT one has a limited bandwidth - the blueyonder is unlimited broadband.

Some of the other providers offer 4mb very cheap - but you still pay a timed connection charge - like you would if you were using the phone, even though its broadband, so I think ill stick to Blueyonder Broadband for now.

Dave.

1st go = 919.92 kbps

2nd go = 925.36 kbps

3rd go = 922.56 kbps

4th go = 911.68 kbps

5th go = 928.24 kbps

average = 932.64

not bad for a 3/4mb a second connection
