disarmalarm Posted October 21, 2023 Share Posted October 21, 2023 Hi, I moved into a house with a concept6 alarm. The code is known. I want to change some sockets and need to turn the mains/socket fuse off. However as soon as I do the alarm goes off and I can't disarm it as the keypad dead at this point. Any help please? Cheers! It likely hasn't been serviced in a long time and either the battery is faulty and/or the panel charging circuit has blown. PeterJames Posted October 21, 2023 Share Posted October 21, 2023 So long as the charging circuit is not knackered you could replace the battery and wait 24hours until its fully recharged, you should be able to turn the power off for around 8 hours without the sounder sounding, its either that or diss the sounder, but be warned the strobe has high voltage. QFA if your battery has been knackered for a long time the charging circuit will not be able to charge a battery anymore.
