What wireless panels do people use

The only issue is the mask, used as grade 2 or power cycling once in blue moon will stop false masks which open the alarm relay

Link + to set disables that problem. Lost count of how many calls I’ve had only to find Iwise blinking away.

I think Pyronix TMD’s have mask issues. Strange how the DT false alarms more often than the PIR. I always disable dip switch 6 on a TMD if the system is G2 as I believe it prevents the alarm relay opening on mask.

Never used those panels. Would you recommend those ones then. Don’t actually do too much wireless ,and when we have had to in commercial places it’s normally expanding a ion with wireless expanders.

Ion is one of the worst without a doubt , probably someone chose it because they have on in there house instead of looking at the commercial qualities of other panels against the ion

Its for a local council and every building is a ion ,older scannie or menvier. We are quite restricted with what we can use. All dvr/nvr have to be Bosch

They use the Bosch divar stuff. I’m not really a fan. It’s super basic kit which is good because some of the dopes who work at the same company can fumble their way through setting them up and using them but it’s interface seems quite old fashioned.

They took advice from the the guy who manages the boroughs central cctv room for road and street cameras, and the dvrs they chose couldn’t even take a 4mp camera ?

I see why people specify stuff, Bosch not so much but its still specified, Its a brand name and doesnt matter how other stuff performs cos ive heard of x y. Ive worked with it and feel it looses out to most other main stream stuff. You should show them them difference
