Normally I quote exactly what they specify and then when I get the tender and get in front of the client I change it for what they need. I have several architects that specify us as their preferred specialist because we dont make them look like ducks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/44226-new-amateur-seeking-a-bit-of-advice/page/4/#findComment-506912 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 December 4, 20205 yr comment_506913 That said the dreaded Grade 3 for jobs that dont require G3 is a bloody nightmare to explain to some people. Insurance brokers are the worse, followed by customers who think that highly sensitive detectors and door contacts will be fine in their dusty old plastic factory with doors that blow open in a gentle breeze. Dude as Norman But non spec means you still spec it and tell me how it is , designed because of aesthetics more likely , you need to go look how to put contacts on either visible and hidden if possible and spec it Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/44226-new-amateur-seeking-a-bit-of-advice/page/4/#findComment-506924 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
