you could do a rough calc based on capacity, i dont know what the published cs expected life of the yale is. But dont forget batteries age too. As above can you fit a decoy in this location and the bell in a more accessable for servicing position

Not sure how many alarms Yale sell but I am guessing its thousands a year probably several thousand. So if they were

all ****, they would stop production through loss ...So I am presuming they are at least OK ..anything can have a fault

I suspect Yale will sell thousands of their shit alarms a week,

A proper house alarm can be had for roughly the monthly payment of Range Rover... oddly expensive cars parked outside houses with shit alarms is far from uncommon

My personal fav was rs4 & powermax comprising of 2 door contacts

Ding! on a forum I frequent someone has just posted a photo of 2 x 69 plate cars (x5 and an full fat AMG Merc) with a pic of his cluster sat nav display showing his home location, a quick google shows no bellbox (back in 2016)

tbf the smash/melt and grab and keyless scroates don't care but at least make it a bit difficult for them.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
