TOKswitch
Hi Community I worked for MAXIM ALARMS Ltd in the early 70s they were a Glasgow Company started by John Mitchell who designed the FIRST EVER 24hour Monitored Burlar Alarm System prior to that they were 2wire.Maxim was 4 wire 24 hour Loop and the Insurance Companies went Crazy for them at that time, Branches in Glasgow,Edinburgh,Dundee,Aberdeen, Newcastle,Manchester,Birmingham, London,Belfast , Bought out by ASH Group (Modern Alarms) sadly John Mitchell passed away 4 or 5 years ago not recognised for his contribution to the Industry & the NSCIA over the years, his wife Cathy still lives in Kirkintilloch near Glasgow. Great Family Business. 1 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/43190-maxim-burglar-alarm/page/2/#findComment-515215 Share on other sites
