Mdc15 Posted August 12, 2019 Share Posted August 12, 2019 Hi, We have had a pm360 system with the gateway box and a seperate keypad to set the alarm with (nothing visual at all). We have had the system for nearly 3 years and I am looking at alternatives. Will it be cheaper / easier to purchase a new system entirely, or will it be better to do a full hard reset of the adt system to try and use it as a standalone visonic alarm? (once the contract has been cancelled of course. I am tech savvy, no issues with fiddling with things! Bit like second hand Sterling keypads and iD biscuits for example... If anything this probably increases the value on the likes of eBay, they do use a slightly different freq, not locked but only compatible with like for like rx. Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
