Featured Replies

hi ,

i have just cut a wire to a  PIR on my alarm system........actually just knicked one of the coloured wires within cable......

the internal siren sounded and it seems all power to other PIR's and main panel has been lost ....cable wires are all connected now.

any ideas ....

thanks

This code is the default code, which we ask you not to post as per forum rules. It will have been changed by the original installer. Can you see the potential problem if it was not changed...?

  • there's Karizma, Karizma+ & a Karzima UDL   even if we fitted it we'd have little interest in supporting it,    You'll be lucky if you can find someone who'll supports the cabl

  • Excellent you answered your own question, £104 question .   Ps , means you found the manual and know how to default the panel and can programme it , easy as that

I would suspect a fuse has blown in the panel.

When was the last time the unit was serviced as this would be good time to get a professional in to give it a once over whilst hopefully repairing the system?

Hi

fuse blown

now it wants the engineer code which I thought was #### enter but that's not working ..

Removed code

The installer would use there own code in the system.

We do not give out codes, manuals or defaulting information here for security reasons.

If you can't contact the original maintainer, I would recommend you call a few local companies and inquire about a service.

Karisma's are quite an old panel now, I have known even well maintained ones to have iD biscuits fail and NVM issues.

Well you will need to default the system which may mean reprogramming it , you could pay someone to do once over and provide you with it , but if it's cost excersice then may reflect what your trying to protect meaning it's low priority

in order to change the engineer code (if unknown) it will mean a full default of the system and  would require it being fully re- programmed  from scratch.

Unless you are fully ofay with alarms and competent I strongly suggest this is carried out by a competent alarm engineer.

spelling mistake

You could get someone to default the engineer & user codes only, no need for a full default. A decent alarm co / engineer could default them within no time at all.

Are you sure? I didnt think you could with ADE panels, its been a long time since I did any programming mind.

Think it's a full default on these, it's the manager code you can reset via procedure , engineer is full default I believe
