I'd say its much easier way to do 2 devices  in series but use different resistor values?

We normally fit Knight G2 contacts that allow for this.

I reckon theres a easier way to wire double doors on a euro than their diagram

you could use their diagram or use dp. 

best to not but u do have existing cabling to work with
