Cluel3ss
So i'm going to be doing FSL wiring, which I think is straightforward enough for the PIRs and magnetic contacts (they all come with built in resistors). But i'm not sure how I would implement it for the Texecom RKPs and Texecom telephone speech dialler? These don't appear to have any built in resisistors. sixwheeledbeast
I suggest reading the instructions for everything before you start, neither of those devices wire onto the panel as a zone. So basically the rkp, dialler, don't use eol they have there own connections as he pointed out , and swb is saying that because the manual will point this all out to you 1 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41485-texecom-premier-elite-fsl-wiring/#findComment-467350 Share on other sites
Cluel3ss
Ok so admittedly I skimmed the manual, now its starting to make a bit more sense! Sensors go to zones, keypads to the network connections. Cluel3ss
I'm currently in the process of wiring it up the sensors. In the panel there are a few accessories, one is the mains cover, the other I think are battery clips, but i'm not sure what the "toothpaste like" caps are for? sixwheeledbeast
Normally the bin... However, if you would like to locate them somewhere other than your local recycling centre; they fit in the screw holes after you put the lid on. 2 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41485-texecom-premier-elite-fsl-wiring/#findComment-467674 Share on other sites
Cluel3ss
Doh! Thanks, that didn't even occur to me, and that's even after having one of those things for the internal sounder.
