Kevalino
I have a Powermaster 10 and have just bought an external siren (MCS-730) and the Powerlink3 module. I can't enrol the siren. There is no enrol button on the pcb and I have tried pressing the test button but this just sets off the alarm. The Powerlink module doesn't work either. Option 7 in the setup menu doesn't exist and the manual says that if this is the case, then make sure it's installed properly. It only has a flat ribbon cable and network lead, so not much to do wrong there. The packet was labelled Tyco and I wondered if it was specific to them? Not much help on the internet for this system and I think I may have made a mistake getting it. Kevalino
Thank you! Wondered if this was the problem. Any idea on the siren? Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41381-visonic-powermaster-10-help/#findComment-465615 Share on other sites
datadiffusion
Won't all parts have 'tyco' on though as ADT or not they still own Visonic? Edited July 9, 2017 by datadiffusion So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/41381-visonic-powermaster-10-help/#findComment-465618 Share on other sites

Even the webby shouts it out, unlike many others who keep their ultimate ownership quiet, i.e. you won't find 'Mondelez' (Cadbury) on Green & Blacks bars. Kevalino
Not solved my problems yet but at least there is somebody out there who knows about the Visonic system! james.wilson
the adt/tyco system is different. They lock it to their version, as they should cos all are sold at a loss. Unfortunately this ends up on ebay (non paying customers or van stock or... etc) If you have an adt panel you need at least adt peripherals. If you have a non adt panel the nicked stuff wont work with it securitywarehouse Security Supplies from Security Warehouse Trade Members please contact us for your TSI vetted trade discount. sixwheeledbeast
Doesn't matter the MCS730 is for the Powermax anyway. They have different sirens but look the same.
