aissecur
At home I installed a inline Sure stop solenoid just after the incoming stop tap, has a meter of "Flex" that allows you to mount the isolation switch in a convenient / accessible location. Nice & easy to install. Always ensure the water to the house gets switched off if away for a few days or on holiday! http://www.surestop.co.uk/owners/

sixwheeledbeast
I don't think I could trust push fit, especially on a supply or rising main.
norman
My incoming is plaggy compression, not much better tbf Quote Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
datadiffusion
To be honest I'd trust a £30 John Guess push fit valve converting rising main MPDE to copper / push fit over those hideous Screwfix £7.99 'MDPE one end, 15mm the other' Chinese made valves that most modern houses seem to have. http://www.screwfix.com/p/poly-stop-cock-25mm-x-15mm/86048 Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
aissecur
sorry yes that is correct - reason I said flex is its a similar size / shaped to a 1.5mm twin & earth
datadiffusion
Yep they even give you 2.5 T+E clips to fix it! Quote So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
