Why is the bell installed by customer?

 

It's always recommended to get at least 3 quotes and go with the company you feel most comfortable with, not necessarily the cheapest.

 

Its not the bell but rather the cable to the bell. We are renovating and getting the cable from the ground floor to the 3rd floor is a little tricky so I suggested I could run that one.

The smart keys were really just for the parents/Inlaws for ease of access.

Prox tags are way easier than the smartkeys.

I would be a little concerned of access to the EWD as I imagine the 3rd floor is pretty high.

Sorry its 2nd floor not 3rd.

 

I've been away all week but have another firm coming to quote on an HKC. But theyve only been fitting them for about 8 months...

 

 

 

Shouldn't be an issue, I'm sure the training was less than 8 hours.

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands
