Isn't the there a section for user options and select no to everything associated to that user accept arm and disarm and so on , don't know the panel but assume that's what it has

I have unchecked everything except for user can: ARM, DISARM, OMIT and still some user menus are showing.  Also I want to stop a user from accidentally disabling things like the door chime, but it seems they can disable it by pressing the chime button. 

If your using prox tags you shouldn't need to open the flap at all, unless you need to omit etc.

The flap still needs to be opened in order to answer YES/NO to ARM/DISARM question, doesn't it?

Tag is Yes or you could enable auto yes.

Would only need for part sets and omitting.

 

The missus is very nervous of technical equipment, so I want to keep it as basic as possible.

 

I only need her to be able to set ARM/DISARM with the Tag.
