If the Fire alarm has to be BS5839 part 1 then the connection between the two systems must be wired in fire tough cable, though the dialler will not be compliant

One possible consideration is programming the zone the fire alarm is connected to as [12] 'Switcher' then put the dialler onto a programmable output as [35] zone follow... that way you'll get the dialler to activate without sounding the intruder alarm with is a pita having to silence two systems

Assuming you got a spare input on your dialler just wire it directly into that through the relay, just double check your trigger polarity is the correct way round, seen it a lot where it only signals upon reset

not just the cable. Connecting fire to intruder has more break in regs than you have fingers.

Less than 24 hour battery standby

Mains supply not in fire rated cable

Signalling equipment not in EN54 rated housing

That's just for starters.

Why would he want any of that?

The fire panel and equipment are just that. The way I read the op question is he/she just wants the existing intruder equipment to ring someone when the fire alarm panel has been activated. The fire panel should have its own bells.

Cassss, we could do with some more info!

If you have provided a 5839 cert then wiring it non 5839 kit would make the cert invalid.
