Yes as part of Caradon plc, they bought Chloride except the battery / vehicles bit afaik.

Then Honeywell bought all the non building materials off Caradon, i think...

You could run anything through an optima, all sorts of bells hanging off them. I cut my teeth on optima/Accentas

Ive got loads, look a mess but like you say stable.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

Thanks for all of your replies ;) I was just hoping to learn a bit more about this good company ;) I am guessing at the time their alarms were quite cheap compared to others like Texecom and Scantronic
